Kyoorius Designyatra 2011
The annual Kyoorius Designyatra conference gathered 1300 people at Goa, on Sep 09-10.
Kyoorius Designyatra is India’s premier design conference. Some argued that it is probably among the top design conferences in the world.
We have been working closely with Kyoorius since the inception of the Designyatra conference. As the creative consultants, we cover all aspects of design, branding and marketing.
Shown here are some photos from the event: The stage, which displays all sorts of props which refer to some of the works the speakers were known for (thick Irma Boom books, Converse shoes and shoe boxes, Unit Editions posters, nostalgic Vignelli photo, etc.) Also appearing on stage is a local Goa Rickshaw, and hand-painted surf boards.
The feedback? Ranges from “awesome” to “cluttered mess”. To me, it made me happy to see people reacting to the stage, by making their way forward to take photos for memories.
